Good soldering iron
This soldering iron is a very nice tool for doing fine soldering work. The iron heats up very quickly and uniquely has a temperature control. The temperature is conveniently displayed and the controls are easy to use and access. The kit comes with handy starter accessories and includes a certificate number for a comprehensive starter soldering guide. The iron is easy to hold, with a silicone grip and well balanced design. Excellent for small welds such as on jewelry. Good value
Best budget iron yet!
One of my most favorite cheap soldering irons i own. Gets up to temp quick and its very comfortable. My biggest green flag is the plug end others like this with the simple dial i have issues of the wires pulling free of the plug. This ones been upgraded and very sound. About to buy 3 more to just leave in my separate work spaces and one for the garage.

Good, inexpensive tool
This is a nice little soldering tool it definitely worked for what I needed it for. The only thing I would say is, a better instruction pamphlet would have been helpful. Great price too.

Worth the money.
I unpacked it and tested the iron by removing a few parts from a circuit board. It was hot enough to do the job. It felt good in the hand to use and the handle was cool. I only occasionally repair circuit boards and I think this iron will do OK. Time will tell if it holds up and will heat hot enough for all circuit board components. For now, with my quick test, it appears to be worth the $10 I paid. It is a bargain at that price.
