I bought this kit because I had a small soldering job to do. And I was very impressed with all of the things that were included in the kit. I showed it to my husband and he was quite impressed as well. In addition, since i've never done any soldering before in my life, I was very impressed that they included an ebook that could be downloaded to show you exactly how to do soldering, in case you didn't know what you were doing.

This set had everything I needed for an emergency repair of the tiniest of wires going to a mystery silver box that I had accidentally severed putting the last screw into a rebuilt oculus controller... this is the coolest iron I every purchased .. and I've purchased many...
Great beginner kit!
This works so well! I'm very happy with the purchase. I have only used mine to do one stained glass piece so far, but it melted the 60/40 wire flawlessly.
